Big cats don’t cry
Always remember, cats are experts at hiding pain. Cats have a long history of being wild before becoming domesticated. The instincts that kept them safe in the wild are still here. If they are crying out in pain, their condition is likely intense and quite severe.

The earlier the problem is detected, the easier, faster and cheaper it is to treat. Regular Pezz Urine Tests give you information to take proactive measures for early detection, intervention and treatment.

Cats hide pain.Let the urine do the talking.
Urine test strips are one of the main screening tools used by vets when it comes to renal or urinary tract diseases. Now you can use the same diagnostic test strips from the comfort of your home.

Frequently asked questions
Here are some questions we usually get about Pezz. If you would like yours answered, please contact us.
What if my cat is very fussy about cat litter?
No problem! Our special, non-absorbent litter is made from natural materials, and we developed it with such sensitivities in mind. We tested it with numerous sensitive cats, and 90% of our four-legged testers were happy to do their business with our litter on the first go. Here are a few tips on how to speed things up if you have a particularly fussy cat:Empty the litter tray, clean with water and leave the tray liner. But be careful: don’t use any cleaning agents as their chemicals can interfere with the test.Give your cat some time to get used to the litter in peace. Constantly monitoring can stress the cat out.Be patient! After all, this is a new experience for your cat.The litter tray should be the only place where your cat can do its business.
What is a rapid, semi-quantitative urinalysis?
A rapid, semi-quantitative urinalysis detects various substances in urine such as haemoglobin, protein and glucose. Compared to a screening test that can only differentiate between negative and positive, semi-quantitative urinalysis can provide a rough estimate of how much of the substance there is. However, only a quantitative test in a laboratory can tell you the exact amount. Due to the cost and time it takes to use quantitative tests for urinalysis, veterinary practices and veterinary clinics very rarely use them for routine check-ups.
What if I still can't collect a urine sample from my cat despite training it?
No problem! By buying a subscription, you’ll automatically benefit from our 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re finding it impossible to collect your pet’s urine, just send us an email to support.eu@pezz.life to use the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Why should I regularly test my cat’s urine?
Kidney and urinary tract disorders usually stay undetected for a long time. For example, by the time the first symptoms of CKD start to show, 70% of the kidneys have already been damaged. Our ISO-certified urine test strips enable you to spot signs of kidney and urinary tract disorders as well as diabetes from the urine sample, long before cats start to feel pain and show symptoms.
What makes the Pezz Urine Test kit different from the usual urine test strips?
Our test kit has been specially developed for cats and is by far the simplest, quickest and most user-friendly way of taking a sample in the history of urine tests. In addition, our app’s digital analysis enables us to see the context of the parameters and give you recommendations based on real data. The results are always available in the app so you can discuss them with your vet if the worst comes to the worst.
